Ingredients
- 1 (30 ounce) package frozen
- shredded hash brown potatoes,
- thawed
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed
- cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms,
- drained
- 1 1/4 teaspoons chili powder
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups shredded colby-monterey
- jack cheese
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the hash browns and soup. Spread into a
- greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees F
- for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef, celery and onion over
- medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender;
- drain. Add the tomato sauce, mushrooms, chili powder, seasoned
- salt, garlic powder and pepper. Spread over the crust. Sprinkle with
- cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted.
