Pronto Beef and Rice

A quick skillet meal of ground beef, rice, tomatoes, and spices. Ready in minutes, it's perfect for busy nights and budget cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce 1/3 cup diced onion
  • 1 small green bell pepper, diced 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
